Empower OT Terms of service.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Empower OT. These Terms of Business outline the services provided by Empower OT, including responsibilities, cancellation policies, fees, and other important information. By engaging in services with Empower OT, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
Empower OT offers occupational therapy assessments, interventions, dyslexia assessments, parent training, and small group or 1:1 workshops tailored for parents, children, teens, and neurodivergent adults.
3. Appointments
Appointments are scheduled by prior arrangement. We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on individual needs and availability. Each client will be assigned a regular time slot, which is protected and cannot be offered to others.
4. Fees and Payment
- Fees are provided in advance and are subject to change with notice.
- Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice. An invoice with a payment link will be sent before each session. If you require a split payment arrangement, please communicate this when scheduling.
- Additional fees may apply for specific services, such as detailed reports following assessments.
5. Cancellation Policy
Empower OT strives to accommodate all clients due to high demand. In case of cancellation:
- Cancellations must be made by phone/WhatsApp or email.
- A fee of €100 applies if the appointment cannot be rescheduled within the same week.
- Please provide as much notice as possible to allow us to offer the slot to another client.
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All information shared with Empower OT is treated with strict confidentiality and managed in compliance with data protection laws. Client records and reports are stored securely and only shared with others upon your consent or where required by law.
7. Reports and Documentation
Reports are prepared in accordance with best practices and are recognised by relevant authorities, including the HSE and Department of Education.
After receiving your report, minor adjustments can be made within 7 days at no additional cost. Any significant changes, additional information, or further requests for modifications after this period will incur an additional fee.
8. Group Sessions and Workshops
Empower OT offers group sessions and workshops that may be delivered in a 1:1 or small group setting. These are organised by demand. If you are interested, please contact us to be added to the list; sessions will be scheduled once sufficient interest is confirmed.
9. Limitations of Service
Empower OT provides therapeutic services and assessments but does not offer emergency or crisis intervention. In cases requiring urgent medical attention or mental health support, please contact emergency services or your primary healthcare provider.
