Who is this Workshop For?

At Empower OT, we offer tailored workshops and groups designed to meet the specific needs of different age groups and individuals. Each group can be delivered in a 1:1 format or within a small, supportive group setting.

Parents: Gain valuable insights and practical strategies to support your child’s unique sensory needs. These sessions help parents understand and respond effectively to their child’s sensory challenges, empowering them to create a more supportive environment at home.

Teens & Children 10+: Explore how your nervous system works and learn to build personalised tools to help you feel more in control of your sensory world. These sessions focus on self-awareness and practical strategies that promote confidence and self-regulation.

Neurodivergent Adults: Discover more about your sensory system, develop effective strategies for managing sensory input, and connect with others who share similar experiences. These workshops provide an opportunity for learning, reflection, and community support.

Each session is designed to equip participants with knowledge and tools that enhance their daily life experiences and foster a sense of control and well-being.

Are you concerned about your child's handwriting development or phonological skills? At Empower OT, we offer a specialised Handwriting and Literacy group designed to support children in developing essential skills for school success. This group focuses on improving fine motor skills, handwriting fluency, and literacy foundations in a fun, collaborative environment. Through engaging activities and tailored strategies, participants gain confidence in their writing abilities and build a strong foundation for academic achievement. Our approach combines occupational therapy expertise, the Handwriting Without Tears program, and a multisensory literacy program to provide comprehensive support.
